Stacking Rings
Wearing stacking rings allows for creativity and personal style expression. Here are some tips:
1. Mix Metals.
Don't be afraid to mix metals like gold, silver, and rose gold for a modern and eclectic look.
2. Balance.
Try to balance the rings on each finger. If you have a larger ring on one finger, pair it with smaller, simpler bands on adjacent fingers.
3. Layering.
Experiment with layering rings on one finger, stacking them at different heights for a dynamic effect.
4. Mix Sizes and Shapes.
Combine thin bands with wider ones, and mix in rings with different textures or gemstones for added interest.
5. Statement Piece.
Consider wearing a bold statement ring as the focal point and then layering simpler bands around it for a chic look.
6. Comfort.
Make sure the rings fit comfortably, not too tight or loose, to ensure they don't slide around too much.
7. Personal Style.
Ultimately, let your personal style guide you. Play around with different combinations until you find a look that feels uniquely you.
Wedding Bands
Plain wedding bands offer timeless elegance and versatility. Here's how to wear them:
1. Solo Statement.
A plain wedding band can make a beautiful statement on its own, symbolizing the purity and simplicity of your commitment.
2. Mix and Match.
If you have an engagement ring, wear the plain band alongside it for a classic and cohesive bridal set.
3. Stacking.
Experiment with stacking the plain band alongside other rings, such as anniversary bands or decorative bands, for a personalized and layered look.
4. Plated Metals.
Any plating will wear off over time and you my be wearing your ring for 40 years or more! Pure silver and 9ct gold are soft metals and will scratch and lose there lustre over time but can always be polished up again.
5. Comfort.
Ensure your wedding band has a comfortable fit, as you'll likely wear it daily.
6. Symbolic Placement.
Traditionally, the wedding band is worn on the ring finger of the left hand, but some cultures and personal preferences dictate other fingers or hands.
7. Engraving.
Add a personal touch by engraving the inside of the band with your wedding date or initials.
